PROCESS

At DECONSTRUCT ARCHITECTURE, we strive to make the design process as clear as possible. We have found that walking along side our clients is the best way to achieve a common understanding of the process and a shared outcome with the result.

We start by listening. Walking through a building, space or site in order to understand our client’s needs. From there we develop a proposal that is tailored to each and every project that describes the program, process, documentation and our responsibilities through each phase of the project.

There are five phases to every project: preliminary design, schematic design, design development and construction documents and construction administration. We walk our clients through each phase, while having the necessary conversations at the time they are needed. We collaborate with our trusted consultants and project partners to assist us in providing our projects with the level of expertise they each deserve.

Once construction begins our role changes, we pass the torch to the builder, but continue to assist our clients as a partner, continuing to guide, respond to questions, and be their trusted adviser.

We remain present and committed until the project is complete.
